He is the mad scientist behind the distinctive ammunition formulas that set Sovereign Ammo apart.

How Sovereign Ammo Began
Amedeo Primiterra and Laura DiBenedetto, the husband-and-wife co-founders of Sovereign Ammo, embarked on an unexpected journey from being vacationers in Hawaii to making the island their home pre-COVID. However, the onset of COVID-19 turned their idyllic island life upside down, leading to strict lockdown measures, and rising crime island-wide. As the pandemic unfolded, disruptions in the supply chain left store shelves bare, and the once-serene environment became increasingly hostile. Faced with these challenges, Amedeo realized the importance of self-sufficiency for survival and took matters into his own hands, working to learn to hand craft ammunition to protect his family. What started as a necessity – making .357 Magnum ammo for personal use – quickly turned into a demand from friends who faced similar challenges due to increasingly harsh government restrictions.
In 2021, exhausted with pandemic hysteria, Amedeo and Laura decided to relocate to the Free State of Florida. Amedeo began handcrafting ammunition, building a reputation grounded in precision and quality which quickly catapulted into automation and a full-scale operation that continues to expand all the time. What initially arose in response to adversity has become a testament to their commitment to excellence fueled by their belief in divinity-appointed sovereignty, and Sovereign Ammo was born.
