Shipping Information and Restrictions

We comply with ALL local, state, and federal laws. The following list of states is NOT represented to be all inclusive of the 50 states’ numerous firearms, ammunition, and magazine laws. You must be aware of any laws affecting your purchase.

Sovereign Ammo will not ship ammunition to the following U.S. States, districts, military addresses, or cities:

  • Alaska
  • California
  • Connecticut
  • Hawaii
  • Cook County, Illinois
  • Massachusetts
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • Washington, D.C.
  • U.S. Territories of Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands
  • Armed Forces America
  • Armed Forces Europe
  • Armed Forces Pacific

We do not ship ammunition to APO & FPO Addresses.

We do not ship ammunition to PO Boxes.

Sovereign Ammo recommends if you live in an apartment that you have your order delivered to the Main Office or Property Manager’s Office. Sovereign Ammo is not responsible for lost or stolen ammunition. Do not forget to indicate what apartment number you live in.

We only ship orders to addresses within the continental U.S.

All ammo ships for FREE and fully insured!  For our merch, shipping varies based on several factors including item weight and size, shipping destination, shipping carrier, and shipping method selected. When placing an order, you will be prompted to choose your shipping preferences.

Orders ship based on current inventory levels and lead times in our production cycle. We are unable to ship on weekends and on holidays. Please check the product page for the item you wish to order for current lead times or delays.

Our warehouse is not set up to process walk-in orders or pickups.

Order Support

Please complete the below steps for all damaged items and lost package claims within 14 days of your order delivery date.  Failure to complete the steps below within that time frame will result in a denial of the claims process.

Missing Items

If you discover items missing from your order, it’s important to act promptly to address the issue. Please note, the responsibility to file a claim for missing items lies with you, the customer. Follow these steps to ensure a comprehensive claim submission to UPS:

  • Retain All Packaging: Keep all original packaging, packing materials, invoices, and contents until the claim resolution process with UPS is complete. The absence of these materials may negatively impact your claim.
  • Document Everything: For a missing item claim, you will need to provide detailed documentation, including:
    • Packaging Slip/Invoice: This document is inside your package.
    • Product Images: Take clear photos of the items that were received.
    • Shipping Label: Photograph the label on your package(s).
    • Package Photos: Capture all sides of the package (front, back, sides, top, and bottom) for a total of 6 photos.
    • Packing Material: Include photos of the packing materials used.
  • File Your Claim: Directly file a claim with UPS, providing all the required documentation listed above. UPS may contact you for additional information as they process your claim.
  • Notify Us: Once your claim with UPS is resolved, please inform us of the outcome. Based on UPS’s resolution, we will then discuss the next steps for refunds or replacements.

Lost Packages

In cases where a package is presumed lost:

  • Patience is Key: UPS may have up to 7 days without scanning a package while in transit. If your package hasn’t been updated in over 7 days, it’s time to initiate the lost package process.
  • Initiate a Claim: You are responsible for starting the lost package claim with UPS. To do so, please:
    • Fill out the UPS claims form, indicating your package is lost.
    • Include your First and Last Name, Order Number, and Order Date in the form.
  • UPS Resolution: After filing your claim, UPS will conduct an investigation into the lost package. They will communicate with you directly regarding the claim status and resolution.
  • Inform Us: Once UPS has resolved your claim, please contact us with the details. We will then work with you to determine the best course of action regarding refunds or replacements.

Ammunition Warranty

All Sovereign Ammo ammunition is warranted against material and workmanship defects. If the ammunition is found to be defective due to material or workmanship, we will replace the defective ammunition at no charge to the customer.

Ammunition warranty claims are handled on a case-by-case basis:

  • Please fill out this form and tell us what issues you are experiencing with the ammo.
  • That information will be sent to our Quality Control team and they will review the details and either determine a resolution or reach out to you for more information.
  • If your warranty claim is approved, we will contact you to discuss refund or replacement options.

NOTE: Improper storage and handling of ammunition may result in damage to the product. The appearance of exposure, corrosion or any other evidence of damage that occurred after the product was sold will void any warranties.

Non-Ammunition Returns

Non-Ammunition Returns within 30 days of purchase are accepted in original new condition, in original packaging and with all accompanying paperwork for refund, less 20% restocking fees.  Buyer is responsible for return shipping charges.
